Formatted a few times. Tried drivers from Dell, Alienware and Nvidia, on seperate occassions. Have spent half day totally starting from scratch with CDs... >.>

If it is the driver issue then you do need to make sure you're downloading them from alienware, laptop graphics cards are frankly retarded with regards to drivers.

Sounds like Nvidia driver problem, make sure you download the driver made by the company of your machine and not Nvidia itself
