Made it to phase 3 with almost everyone alive, definate progress, mastered phase 1 now, got a plan for phase 2, that seemed to work. Just getting phase 3 sorted.

worth a try, but i have never seen the TDR timeout actually fix this kind of problem, its just takes a little longer to crash out. What did trading standards say?

Assuming those drivers don't work (and you're on vista sp1 (or 2, whatever they're up to). It's most likely a hardware fault.
