Wel yeah then its not much of a ripoff, then the time of the techy was arround 65pounds wich sounds about right.. didnot know y did the ram !

Oh parts are £68 (I think) for motherboard and 32ish for 2x 4gb Ram as my old stuff was ddr2 so needed to get ddr3 replacements. Plus side is I could buy ram next time I'm flush and double the ram.

I live with a techy. £100 for parts (not bad on that one tbh comparing to other sites prices) £70 labour (that's the rip off right there) and yes next time I'm doing it myself or getting James to do it

You've got a guild with a bunch of hardware geeks Chris, next time don't be afraid to ask And swapping hardware isn't really that hard. The cables only fit in one place now adays. Only thing that requires delicacy is installing the CPU.

You could also just use a Youtube guide and do it yourself. That's how I made my first computer.

Ohkay turns out guy from yesterday was lying they haven't wiped it. Have charged me a total of £173 for them playing with it though -.- I should really just take a computing course that covers hardware I'm sure it will be cheaper in the long run....

Right will have my pc back by tonight and hopefully will have a copy of wow installed I'm doing a 3 mile fun run at 6pm so I maybe late home if I'm needed however I will probably be able to raid when I get in (7/730ish UK time).
