I've always thought of Gaunt's Ghosts as 'Sharpe in Space' tbh. Great books though, & the author isn't afraid of killing off characters, which I always like.

Same for Gaunts Ghosts really it's a war novel which occasionally includes supernatural stuff.

You don't need to be a warhammer fan for Eisenhorn tbh. It's an extremely good set of books. Great characters, compelling plot. You wouldn't regret reading them.

Not really a warhammer fan, closest I get is Dawn of War. >.>

I second Eisenhorn! Awsome trilogy, & I wouldn't say you needed to like 40k to get the most out of it. & Gaunt's Ghosts are also great.

Fantasy, Sci fi, Horror. Hmmm. Favourite series of books is Dresden files, about a wizard who is a PI in modern day chicago. Sums it up.

Heh, someone at work has just lent me Twilight, insisting it's a great book. It'll be interesting to see if it deserves the amount of hatred the internet has for it.
